INTERNATIONAL DAY OF PERSONS WITH DISABILITY

𝗜𝗡𝗧𝗘𝗥𝗡𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡𝗔𝗟 𝗗𝗔𝗬 𝗢𝗙 𝗣𝗘𝗥𝗦𝗢𝗡𝗦 𝗪𝗜𝗧𝗛 𝗗𝗜𝗦𝗔𝗕𝗜𝗟𝗜𝗧𝗬 3𝚁𝙳 𝙳𝙴𝙲𝙴𝙼𝙱𝙴𝚁, 2021 🅃🄷🄴🄼🄴: 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 𝗔𝗻𝗱 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗽𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗢𝗳 𝗣𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗪𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗗𝗶𝘀𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗧𝗼𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱𝘀 𝗔𝗻 𝗜𝗻𝗰𝗹𝘂𝘀𝗶𝘃𝗲, 𝗔𝗰𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗔𝗻𝗱 𝗦𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗣𝗼𝘀𝘁-𝗖𝗢𝗩𝗜𝗗19 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱 The purpose of this day is to raise awareness about disability issues and support disabled people's dignity, rights, and well-being. It also seeks to promote awareness of the plight of disabled people in political, social, economic, and cultural aspects of life and also integrate them into leadership positions in all facets of life. It also highlights the necessity of protecting the rights of persons with disabilities so that they can participate fully, equally, and productively in society, with no barriers in any aspect of their lives. WORLD AIDS DAY

𝗪𝗢𝗥𝗟𝗗 𝗔𝗜𝗗𝗦 𝗗𝗔𝗬 1𝚂𝚃 𝙳𝙴𝙲𝙴𝙼𝙱𝙴𝚁, 2021 🅃🄷🄴🄼🄴: 𝗘𝗻𝗱 𝗜𝗻𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀, 𝗘𝗻𝗱 𝗔𝗜𝗗𝗦 The goal of World AIDS Day is to raise awareness about this life-threatening disease, Acquired Immunodeficiency Syndrome (AIDS) caused by the Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV). It is also observed to offer assistance to persons living with AIDS. HIV continues to be a major public health concern that affects millions of people around the world.  The theme emphasizes the importance of focusing extra attention on those who have been left behind, as well as the rising disparities in access to critical HIV services. Despite the fact that HIV/AIDS is not a curable disease, shortcomings such as division, inequity, and disregard for human rights have allowed this disease to become and remain a worldwide health problem.
