𝗪𝗢𝗥𝗟𝗗 𝗕𝗜𝗣𝗢𝗟𝗔𝗥 𝗗𝗔𝗬 30𝚃𝙷 𝙼𝙰𝚁𝙲𝙷 🅃🄷🄴🄼🄴: 𝗪𝗲 𝗔𝗿𝗲 #𝗕𝗶𝗽𝗼𝗹𝗮𝗿 𝗧𝗼𝗴𝗲𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 Manic-depressive illness, often known as bipolar disorder, affects a person's mood, causing a swing from one extreme to the other. Bipolar disorder has a significant impact on one's mood and can cause spells of depression and excitement, all of which can have a negative impact on one's health, productivity, and relationships. Bipolar disorder also impacts one's capacity to operate. However, there are a number of medications that can be used to manage the disease, which is the foundation of raising awareness in order to decrease social stigma and encourage people to seek treatment.  This year, people are being encouraged to use social media to help communicate knowledge on bipolar disorders around the world and to try to eradicate social stigma by offering information to others. INTERNATIONAL PURPLE DAY: EPILEPSY AWARENESS

𝗜𝗡𝗧𝗘𝗥𝗡𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡𝗔𝗟 𝗣𝗨𝗥𝗣𝗟𝗘 𝗗𝗔𝗬: 𝗘𝗣𝗜𝗟𝗘𝗣𝗦𝗬 𝗔𝗪𝗔𝗥𝗘𝗡𝗘𝗦𝗦  26𝚃𝙷 𝙼𝙰𝚁𝙲𝙷 It is a global day set aside to increase awareness of epilepsy, also known as seizure disorder, and to debunk popular misconceptions and concerns about this common neurological illness. It also focuses on reducing the social stigmas connected with the disorder and encouraging people living with it to seek treatment rather than withdrawing into their shells, as recurring seizures can cause brain damage and put one in harm's way. Epilepsy is caused by a variety of factors, the majority of which are unknown. Known causes can be congenital or acquired (infection and trauma amongst others). Epilepsy is symbolized by the color lavender all over the world. The lavender flower depicts loneliness, which epilepsy patients often feel. Today is Purple Awareness Day, and we are urged to wear purple and raise awareness. Photo credit: Awareness days

𝗪𝗢𝗥𝗟𝗗 𝗧𝗨𝗕𝗘𝗥𝗖𝗨𝗟𝗢𝗦𝗜𝗦 (𝗧𝗕) 𝗗𝗔𝗬 24𝚃𝙷 𝙼𝙰𝚁𝙲𝙷 🅃🄷🄴🄼🄴: 𝗜𝗻𝘃𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗧𝗼 𝗘𝗻𝗱 𝗧𝗕. 𝗦𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗟𝗶𝘃𝗲𝘀 TB is still one of the world's greatest infectious killers, and it's been reported that it's killing more people than ever before, especially in the COVID 19 period. It is a major cause of death among HIV-positive patients. We are raising public awareness about the catastrophic health, social, and economic repercussions of tuberculosis today, and we are intensifying our efforts to stop the global TB epidemic. This year's theme emphasizes the urgent need to increase resources in the battle against tuberculosis and meet global leaders' commitments to eradicate the disease. It's an opportunity to focus on the individuals who are impacted by the disease and to demand that more be done to end TB misery and fatalities, especially in the context of the ongoing COVID-19 crisis. WORLD ORAL HEALTH DAY

𝗪𝗢𝗥𝗟𝗗 𝗢𝗥𝗔𝗟 𝗛𝗘𝗔𝗟𝗧𝗛 𝗗𝗔𝗬 20𝚃𝙷 𝙼𝙰𝚁𝙲𝙷 🅃🄷🄴🄼🄴: 𝗕𝗲 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗱 𝗢𝗳 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗠𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵 𝗙𝗼𝗿 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗛𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗔𝗻𝗱 𝗪𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗯𝗲𝗶𝗻𝗴 The goal is to motivate people to take action by emphasizing how vital a healthy mouth is for our happiness and well-being. This is because good oral health has a beneficial impact on your looks, and overall health, therefore, it is something worth pursuing. We encourage people to cherish and care for their oral health, as well as make the best decisions possible to safeguard it. An unhealthy mouth has a negative impact on people's emotional, social, mental, and physical well-being, in addition to their general health. Brushing your teeth on a regular basis, talking about oral health, and scheduling a dentist appointment are all ways to participate in the campaign. Photo credit: Shutterstock
