TB is still one of the world's greatest infectious killers, and it's been reported that it's killing more people than ever before, especially in the COVID 19 period. It is a major cause of death among HIV-positive patients. We are raising public awareness about the catastrophic health, social, and economic repercussions of tuberculosis today, and we are intensifying our efforts to stop the global TB epidemic. This year's theme emphasizes the urgent need to increase resources in the battle against tuberculosis and meet global leaders' commitments to eradicate the disease. It's an opportunity to focus on the individuals who are impacted by the disease and to demand that more be done to end TB misery and fatalities, especially in the context of the ongoing COVID-19 crisis.

NORTH AMERICAN CYSTIC FIBROSIS CONFERENCE (NACFC) 2024

North American Cystic Fibrosis Conference (NACFC) 2024 Day 2 Yet another exciting day at NACFC! I started with an interactive session on some research procedures, which I found helpful for my recruiting work and the data's impact on the population. I learned a lot from the CFTR genetics session, which aligns with one of my research group's projects, and the plenary session on The Journey to Understand and Advance Research in CFRD. I wrapped up the day by networking with colleagues at Johns Hopkins Cystic Fibrosis Center  #nacfc #nacfc2024 #cf #cysticfibrosis

NORTH AMERICAN CYSTIC FIBROSIS CONFERENCE (NACFC) 2024

North American Cystic Fibrosis Conference (NACFC) 2024 Day 3 The past few days at The 38th Annual North American Cystic Fibrosis Conference (NACFC) have been inspiring. I've gained a deeper understanding of CF, CF care, cutting-edge research, and, most importantly, the lived experiences of people living with cystic fibrosis and their families. I am leaving this session with more inspiration to serve people living with CF with my work. Thank you to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation for this invaluable opportunity to learn, connect, and be more inspired. #nacfc #nacfc2024 #cf #cysticfibrosis
