This day is set aside to raise hemophilia and other bleeding disorders awareness and understanding. Improved awareness leads to early diagnosis and care for the people living with bleeding disorders all over the world.

The goal of World Hemophilia Day is to raise awareness about important topics and to bring hemophilia and bleeding diseases into the forefront.

This is an opportunity for patients and caregivers to share personal experiences and get together to commemorate the day. We also acknowledge that some areas may not have easy access to high-quality care.

The greater the number of people who raise awareness, the more likely the message will reach the government and policymakers.
