The goal is to raise global awareness about arthritic disorders, with a focus on the type of arthritis caused by autoimmunity or autoinflammation, as opposed to the more frequent type of arthritis, which is caused by wear and tear from various factors. Immune cells of the body mistakenly target the body's own healthy joint tissues, causing the body to attack them. A greater understanding of these disorders can aid in early detection, diagnosis, and treatment, reducing the risk of permanent damage and impairment. 

Government authorities, non-governmental organizations (NGOs), and other stakeholders are encouraged to develop and execute solutions for the benefit of patients through advocacy activities and awareness campaigns. To provide persons living with this disease a voice, assist them in coping, relieve suffering, and minimize the socioeconomic load.

North American Cystic Fibrosis Conference (NACFC) 2024 Day 2 Yet another exciting day at NACFC! I started with an interactive session on some research procedures, which I found helpful for my recruiting work and the data's impact on the population. I learned a lot from the CFTR genetics session, which aligns with one of my research group's projects, and the plenary session on The Journey to Understand and Advance Research in CFRD.
