Tobacco consumption has a lot of detrimental health and environmental effects. Every year, tobacco kills millions of people while also damaging the environment. This year's focus is on the numerous ways in which tobacco endangers our environment.

The tobacco industry has huge and rising harmful influence on the environment, putting substantial strain on our planet's already limited resources and fragile ecosystems. This annual event educates the public on the dangers of tobacco use. It raises awareness of the harmful effects of tobacco manufacturing and usage on one's health, social, economic, and environmental well-being.

I've gained a deeper understanding of CF, CF care, cutting-edge research, and, most importantly, the lived experiences of people living with cystic fibrosis and their families. North American Cystic Fibrosis Conference (NACFC) 2024 Day 2 Yet another exciting day at NACFC! I started with an interactive session on some research procedures, which I found helpful for my recruiting work and the data's impact on the population. I learned a lot from the CFTR genetics session, which aligns with one of my research group's projects, and the plenary session on The Journey to Understand and Advance Research in CFRD. North American Cystic Fibrosis Conference (NACFC) 2024 Day 1 Another exciting day at the NACFC! I started with the morning educative session, reconnecting with my incredible research team and reviewing their insightful posters for the conference. It was also a great learning session at the endocrinology abstract presentations. I engaged in the roundtable discussion, which aligned closely with my research focus, the session on the CF disease mechanism, and the plenary session, which was a great opportunity to stay updated on the advancements in CF therapies. I wrapped up the day with some general and group social gatherings because it’s all about building relationships and sharing ideas! #nacfc #nacfc2024 #cf #cysticfibrosis
