It's a day to honor the Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement. Multiple crises have devastated the most vulnerable people in recent time, leaving no one unaffected. Despite this, acts of kindness offer a great deal of hope and humanity. Kind gestures make a significant difference in people's lives, regardless of how big or tiny they are. It is believed that small acts of kindness can spread throughout communities, countries, and worldwide.

Advocacy for the world's most vulnerable people, wherever they may be (the disadvantaged and forgotten) and assistance in refocusing the world's attention on all people in need is part of the aims of the celebration. This year, we're focusing on kindness and encouraging people to be kind.

We can all #BeHumanKind together.

North American Cystic Fibrosis Conference (NACFC) 2024 Day 2 Yet another exciting day at NACFC! I started with an interactive session on some research procedures, which I found helpful for my recruiting work and the data's impact on the population. I learned a lot from the CFTR genetics session, which aligns with one of my research group's projects, and the plenary session on The Journey to Understand and Advance Research in CFRD. I wrapped up the day by networking with colleagues at Johns Hopkins Cystic Fibrosis Center  #nacfc #nacfc2024 #cf #cysticfibrosis

NORTH AMERICAN CYSTIC FIBROSIS CONFERENCE (NACFC) 2024

  North American Cystic Fibrosis Conference (NACFC) 2024 Day 1 Another exciting day at the NACFC!  I started with the morning educative session, reconnecting with my incredible research team and reviewing their insightful posters for the conference.  It was also a great learning session at the endocrinology abstract presentations. I engaged in the roundtable discussion, which aligned closely with my research focus, the session on the CF disease mechanism, and the plenary session, which was a great opportunity to stay updated on the advancements in CF therapies.  I wrapped up the day with some general and group social gatherings because it’s all about building relationships and sharing ideas! #nacfc #nacfc2024 #cf #cysticfibrosis
