Every year, World Heart Day is commemorated to bring attention to the growing issues concerning cardiovascular disease, heart health, and effective management strategies. The majority of heart diseases are silent killers that develop suddenly and without warning. Cases of heart diseases are significantly on the rise, especially among young people. This is caused by some lifestyle changes, including stress, inactivity, smoking, drinking, using illegal substances, and taking dangerous supplements, among others. By making sure these messages are heard by as many people as possible, we can beat cardiovascular diseases and ensure that every heart beats. Everyone has a chance today to reflect on how they can use ❤️ for themselves, the environment, and mankind in the most effective ways.

North American Cystic Fibrosis Conference (NACFC) 2024 Day 2 Yet another exciting day at NACFC! I started with an interactive session on some research procedures, which I found helpful for my recruiting work and the data's impact on the population. I learned a lot from the CFTR genetics session, which aligns with one of my research group's projects, and the plenary session on The Journey to Understand and Advance Research in CFRD.
