We all have the chance to work together to advocate for improved lung health worldwide on this day. Most people do not think much about their lung health until they have respiratory tract illnesses. The state of our lungs and the onset of respiratory issues can be influenced by heredity, disease, and the environment. Lung health is at risk from inequality in the management of these factors, especially when it comes to environmental health concerns that are widely modifiable, like poverty, air pollution, cigarette use, and climate change.

We will go through what we can do to eliminate these disparities this year with the goal to lessen the worldwide burden of the major respiratory diseases and the effects of COVID. This is accomplished through improving access to screening tests, to aid in the early diagnosis, and treatment of lung disorders.

World leaders are urged to cooperate to develop the necessary capacity and resources, and implement applicable policies to achieve lung health for all. By minimising environmental pollution and avoiding substances that impair human lung function, the general public can play a crucial part in safeguarding lung health for everybody.

One of the most essential things in instilling a patient’s confidence in the doctors is their appearance. In terms of attire, the white coat was deemed to be the most suitable, followed by surgic...

NORTH AMERICAN CYSTIC FIBROSIS CONFERENCE (NACFC) 2024

North American Cystic Fibrosis Conference (NACFC) 2024 Day 2 Yet another exciting day at NACFC! I started with an interactive session on some research procedures, which I found helpful for my recruiting work and the data's impact on the population. I learned a lot from the CFTR genetics session, which aligns with one of my research group's projects, and the plenary session on The Journey to Understand and Advance Research in CFRD. I wrapped up the day by networking with colleagues at Johns Hopkins Cystic Fibrosis Center  #nacfc #nacfc2024 #cf #cysticfibrosis

NORTH AMERICAN CYSTIC FIBROSIS CONFERENCE (NACFC) 2024

North American Cystic Fibrosis Conference (NACFC) 2024 Day 3 The past few days at The 38th Annual North American Cystic Fibrosis Conference (NACFC) have been inspiring. I've gained a deeper understanding of CF, CF care, cutting-edge research, and, most importantly, the lived experiences of people living with cystic fibrosis and their families. I am leaving this session with more inspiration to serve people living with CF with my work. Thank you to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation for this invaluable opportunity to learn, connect, and be more inspired. #nacfc #nacfc2024 #cf #cysticfibrosis
