Pneumonia is an infection of the lungs caused by several microbes. As pneumonia can cause death if left untreated, this day serves as a chance to emphasise the need for prevention, early detection, and effective treatment. It is desired to have no more pneumonia-related deaths in future.

This illness can manifest in a variety of ways, from fever to respiratory problems. It is possible to both prevent and treat pneumonia. The mortality toll from pneumonia is increasing despite the availability of therapy, and the COVID outbreak has made matters worse. Use of nose masks, keeping a safe distance from other people, maintaining good personal cleanliness, washing your hands regularly, and receiving the required vaccinations are all protective measures. To lessen microbial transmission through aerosol, people with coughs are recommended to cough into their elbow.

We increase public awareness of this respiratory infection and its preventive measures to lower the risk of respiratory infection and mortality. Additionally, we urge public and private organisations to disseminate these preventive measures at the community level, especially to those at high risk, and to offer resources for immunizations and treatment to those who have already been affected.

While delivering patient care, wearing professional clothes (i.e., a white coat with more formal clothes ) may have a positive impact on trust and confidence-building in the medical encounter. One of the most essential things in instilling a patient’s confidence in the doctors is their appearance. In terms of attire, the white coat was deemed to be the most suitable, followed by surgical scrubs

ROAD TO MASTERS IN THE US

jhsph.edu  ROAD TO MASTERS PROGRAM IN THE US   The first thing is deciding where you want to further your education. For me, I believe the United States stands out for various reasons   1.  Their institutions/universities are among the best in the world 2.  Unlike institutions in the UK, you do not have to pay tuition upfront. In  fact  in my case, I had come to the US, started my program and was way into my program before payment was required to register for courses for next term. I only paid acceptance fee back in Nigeria. 3.  There are scholarships available in most institutions, but they are quite competitive. Do due diligence and research on the institutions you are applying to. This is a link of available scholarships in some institutions.  4.  In lieu of scholarships there are loans available which do not require a co-signer/guarantor  like  Prodigy finance  and  Mpower     Depending on when you are making this decision , I would start from the beginning, so you can pick up f
