The focus of this day is to maintain good oral health and prevent oral diseases. It is more important to have a healthy mouth than it is to have a perfect one. It is a motivating call to action that encourages people to take care of their oral health. An unhealthy mouth can negatively affect all facets of life, while a healthy mouth is essential for pleasure and well-being.

Numerous things can contribute to bad breath, but the most prevalent ones are poor oral hygiene, smoking, and underlying ear, nose, and throat conditions. People who have bad odour may feel embarrassed and may isolate themselves as a result. Sometimes it can be challenging to handle because some people don't realise they have bad breath.

We want to improve people's understanding of the value of dental health and the various oral hygiene habits they should adopt. This includes:

-Adequate hydration to help remove food particles from your mouth

-Flossing to remove food fragments caught between your teeth

-Use of mouthwash to enhance dental health

-Brushing twice a day to keep your teeth clean and healthy

-Regular tongue cleaning to avoid bad breath

Even if you are not having any oral problems, it is advised to see a dentist twice a year for examination, scaling and polishing which aid in the prevention and early detection of oral health problems.

Formal healthcare personnel who aren’t dressed professionally must protect and defend their professional demeanour. The white coat has long been regarded as a medical doctor’s badge.  Some patients still prefer a white coat, according to various research. One of the most essential things in instilling a patient’s confidence in the doctors is their appearance. In terms of attire, the white coat was deemed to be the most suitable, followed by surgic...

NORTH AMERICAN CYSTIC FIBROSIS CONFERENCE (NACFC) 2024

North American Cystic Fibrosis Conference (NACFC) 2024 Day 2 Yet another exciting day at NACFC! I started with an interactive session on some research procedures, which I found helpful for my recruiting work and the data's impact on the population. I learned a lot from the CFTR genetics session, which aligns with one of my research group's projects, and the plenary session on The Journey to Understand and Advance Research in CFRD. I wrapped up the day by networking with colleagues at Johns Hopkins Cystic Fibrosis Center  #nacfc #nacfc2024 #cf #cysticfibrosis

NORTH AMERICAN CYSTIC FIBROSIS CONFERENCE (NACFC) 2024

North American Cystic Fibrosis Conference (NACFC) 2024 Day 3 The past few days at The 38th Annual North American Cystic Fibrosis Conference (NACFC) have been inspiring. I've gained a deeper understanding of CF, CF care, cutting-edge research, and, most importantly, the lived experiences of people living with cystic fibrosis and their families. I am leaving this session with more inspiration to serve people living with CF with my work. Thank you to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation for this invaluable opportunity to learn, connect, and be more inspired. #nacfc #nacfc2024 #cf #cysticfibrosis
