This is a moment to honour those who give back to their communities and to celebrate the humanitarian spirit. This day provides a chance to recognize the network of Red Cross and Red Crescent volunteers and employees who are addressing the escalating needs of communities while also reiterating our steadfast dedication to this cause. They bring hope and dignity in the midst of sorrow and act with kindness and solidarity across the globe. The extraordinary attitude of our volunteers throughout the world is not only something to be admired, but it also serves as motivation for others to get involved as well.

We are living through a challenging period, which is forcing people to learn new volunteer and community engagement strategies. When times have been toughest and when hope may have seemed so far away, the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement has always been there, close to the people who need them the most. Even while the necessity to keep a safe distance from vulnerable individuals and communities exist, they still have a positive impact on people's lives. In order to maintain our social connections and strengthen our sense of belonging, we all have to learn how to console and support one another from a distance. We must approach global problems from the standpoint that no one is safe until we are all safe.

NORTH AMERICAN CYSTIC FIBROSIS CONFERENCE (NACFC) 2024

North American Cystic Fibrosis Conference (NACFC) 2024 Day 2 Yet another exciting day at NACFC! I started with an interactive session on some research procedures, which I found helpful for my recruiting work and the data's impact on the population. I learned a lot from the CFTR genetics session, which aligns with one of my research group's projects, and the plenary session on The Journey to Understand and Advance Research in CFRD. I wrapped up the day by networking with colleagues at Johns Hopkins Cystic Fibrosis Center  #nacfc #nacfc2024 #cf #cysticfibrosis

NORTH AMERICAN CYSTIC FIBROSIS CONFERENCE (NACFC) 2024

North American Cystic Fibrosis Conference (NACFC) 2024 Day 3 The past few days at The 38th Annual North American Cystic Fibrosis Conference (NACFC) have been inspiring. I've gained a deeper understanding of CF, CF care, cutting-edge research, and, most importantly, the lived experiences of people living with cystic fibrosis and their families. I am leaving this session with more inspiration to serve people living with CF with my work. Thank you to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation for this invaluable opportunity to learn, connect, and be more inspired. #nacfc #nacfc2024 #cf #cysticfibrosis
